Maya Bay and Phi Phi Leh island, where some of the photos in this gallery were taken, are part of a group of six islands of which Phi Phi Don is the largest. The bay and the island of Phi Phi Leh were the location for the filming of 'The Beach,' and this idyllic spot is no longer quite so idyllic. Tourist traffic has become so heavy that incoming speedboats, longtail boats, and ferry boats must often compete for landing spots along the smallish beach. The island group is part of the Phi Phi Hat Nopparat Thara Marine National Park.

Tup and Mor are essentially two very small limestone mounts connected by a sandbar. At low tide one can walk from them to nearby Ko Hua Kwan.
